What Exactly is PTD-DBM:

PTD (Protein transduction domain) DBM (-Dvl-binding motif) is abbreviated as PTD-DBM. Many research studies have suggested that PTD-DBM could be a treatment for baldness. Research has shown this peptide combined with valproic acid  to have positive impacts on hair regeneration results. This peptide is frequently used in combination with other peptides like GHK-Cu, Zn-Thymulin, and Thymosin Beta to achieve positive results in hair restoration. These treatments can be combined with micro needling for the best results.

What is PTD-DBM Known For?

For the uninitiated, it’s a form of hair follicle regeneration therapy. It’s a topical scalp treatment based on peptides that block the body’s hormones and enzymes from shrinking follicles, saving the follicle at the stem cell level. As a result, research shows that hair loss could be prevented, and new hair follicles could be grown when you use PTD-DBM.

Many scientists believe that human hair follicle growth and regeneration are regulated by WNT signalling pathways found within cells. Proteomic pathways transmit cell activity and production signals to a wide range of cells throughout our bodies.

Androgenetic alopecia is associated with a protein that causes hair loss, according to the study’s authors. Scientists discovered a protein that regulated hair growth and created a new compound that encourages hair regeneration by modifying the protein’s function.

Hair restoration and wound healing are linked to the Wnt/-catenin pathway, in which the responsible protein, CXXC5, functions as a negative regulator. Hair regrowth is inhibited when CXXC5 binds to the Dishevelled protein, a follicle-development inhibitor. People who want to keep their hair should avoid this. This sparked the creation of PTD-DBM, a biochemical compound that disrupts the binding process.

Human hair follicle dermal papilla cells demonstrate the beneficial effects of PTD-DBM on hair regeneration. The success of PTD-DBM prompted a further study to develop a three-pronged approach to hair regrowth therapy:

  1. Microneedling, or wound-induced hair regrowth, is another name for this procedure. Androgenetic alopecia treatment involves puncturing the scalp with extremely fine needles rolled over it. Dermarollers are the official name for these gadgets. They are moved over the target area while being held in hand to create a “wound” and aid in producing new hair follicles. Because it causes minor trauma to the skin, microneedling is commonly used to treat the skin and has been shown to increase the generation of collagen and other healing factors.
  2. With PTD-DBM, I’m going after CXXC5.
  3. Valproic acid is the chemical name for this substance. Seizures, bipolar, schizophrenia, and migraines are among the conditions for which it’s most commonly prescribed. It was applied topically to the skin to activate the Wnt/-catenin pathway in this case.

As a result, the treatment has a triple effect. To generate follicles, microneedling creates “wounds,” valproic acid stimulates the cell pathway that leads to follicle development, and PTD-DBM hinders CXXC5 from interrupting the follicular development process. In addition, the scientists found that combining these three methods accelerated the rate at which hair grew back.

Effects:

Research has shown the following benefits of PTD-DBM:

  • Prevents male and female pattern baldness, the most common form of hair loss.
  • Improve the appearance of balding scalps by regenerating damaged skin tissues.
  • Hair regrowth is advanced when using this product.
  • Bald spots develop new follicle growth.
  • Hair loss is prevented and corrected, and wound healing is sped up.
